True, they would have likely in the first round, but it would've been nice to have the entire region (if not state) behind them. They won't get to experience that now.

Absolutely perfect match-up for the Norse. As a 15 seed our choices were to plays the 2s. Either Duke in Greensboro, Arizona in Salt Lake City, or U.K./U.L. In Indy. That being given for the Norse fans to support the team in Indy is wonderful. Facts are Norse are not ready yet to upset a 2; but, to experience the NCAAs this year and play the Wildcats will create lifetimes of memories. Playing with House Money....free and easy....no pressure because no expectations.....overconfident and cocky 2 seed opponent.....makes for a dangerous underdog.

Tough matchup for NKU, I don't know why the committee loves putting the small Ky Schools against UK or UL in the Round of 64. But. UK by 20+.

I agree that NKU is probably not ready to beat a 2 seed. However, could you imagine them being a 14 seed and playing in Indy against a 3? All of UK's fans supporting them as well. Would have been awesome!!

Exactly. Indy would have been rocking that whole day.

Typical NCAA being petty as usual. I always root for Kentucky teams, just not when they are playing U.K. But NKU their first big dance, it stinks!
