January 17, 20179 yr Well DJT says health care for everyone. I hope so, and would like to see how he does it. Says it won't be a single payer. Gonna take on pharms and insurance. I can get behind this on the surface from what he says, but how will he pay. There is no way to do this using pre existing conditions without it being really costly. I like it, though. Is this socialism?
January 17, 20179 yr Seems Rand Paul is in a key spot. That is a pretty good start. I have said for quite a while that the biggest mistake in Obamacare was the mandated plan design. That is a huge factor in the higher cost of coverage. The association pools are also a good idea. These were in place before Obamacare and seem like a good option for small business. Paul sounds like he does not have an answer to the pre-existing condition issue.

There has to be a continuous period in which I have insurance or a set period of time when it lapses. I should not be able to go a year , 5 years or 10 years without insurance and then when I get sick to try and be covered. That is one of the biggest flaws of the current law.
