Let everyone else buy coverage as they used to and subsidize the high risk pool to the point they are equal to "regular" plans. That has to be cheaper that what we are doing now.

Let me have the plan that I had (you know, the one that Obama said I could keep) back. It worked for me and my situation, I'm 100% selfish on this issue. Obamacare has had an adverse effect on me. How many people are in the same boat as me? Are we just supposed to shut up and take it because it's better for someone else? I've gone from having a fairly good plan to essentially having major medical coverage only because of how much my deductibles and co-pays have gone up.

I truly appreciate your honesty here. I profoundly disagree, but your honesty is refreshing for those that bash it. Because bottom line selfishness versus unselfish is the root of the whole divide on lots of things politically IMO.

If America was boiled down to 100 people all living together in a town 10 of us still don't have health insurance. Even after Obama. Basically there are 2 doctors in our town. I don't know if those 2 doctors want to work on those 10 people for free, if they do that's up to them, but history shows they do not want to. Most conservatives and I don't want to pay the doctors to work on them either and we shouldn't have to.

Just about what mine does. We have individual plans and have to pay 2500 out of pocket before anything. I don't mind and would pay more if I had to and not mind. Some of us think differently. As with most things I had to adjust and will. But I believe everyone should have the opportunity.

I won't bore you with the literature, but bankruptcies from health care related pressures/costs have risen incrementally each and every year. Read what you want from that. But coverage for everyone simply put, hasn't offered relief for everyone. It seems that if anything, it's put more burden and financial ruin on more folks. I'm simply not cool with that.
