Tonight's dinner was Chaat Papri and Chili Chicken delivered by Spice 6 (Indian). As usual, it was great Indian fast food.

Last night a buddy and I took our wives to Mr. Sushi in cincy. We had assorted rolls. Very yummy. The gals went to little mermaid and we hung around downtown. Ended up at Knockback Nats and talked my buddy into trying the wings. He fell in love with them.

Ate at a place called Zoups. Very good. I had the Bacon turkey salad and tomato bisque. Husband had the chicken dumpling soup. We will be eating here a lot while we are here.

Used up some gift cards at Yardhouse before the Garth concert on Sunday.

Tell us how it is.

Grillfish Lexington was mediocre at best. Food was way over-seasoned in my opinion. Even the vegetables.

This was my 2nd time eating out this year.

Pasquale's for lunch yesterday. I think that all of Augusta high school was there.

They'd probably fit.

The Mrs and I braved the Yardhouse last night. Had a couple gift cards we had been holding onto.

We enjoy classic rock so the atmosphere was accomodating. It is very loud and up tempo so don't go here if your looking for quiet and remotely peaceful. We had a very good egg roll app. She got the rib eye and i took a flyer on jambalaya.

The beer and wine list is fantastic and if you want to drink beer by the yard ( hence the name ) come here. Portion size on the rib eye was lacking considering the cost and the jambalaya couldn't hold a candle to the New Orleans Cafe at EKU back in the early 90s. That's my measuring stick...best jambalaya and etouffee I've ever had. :thumb: The Knotty Pine sometimes gets close!

Dessert was out of this world. A marshmellow brownie concoction we enjoyed with a couple glasses of cab sav. Not even going to tell you how much it ended up costing. Let's just say we could of gone to Ruth Chris and stuck to water and coffee and still been way under. :lol2: We only do that about twice a year so we "got a little crazy!" Must have been the classic rock...

Just because I needed to get away for an hour, I went out to eat and watch 2nd half of UK game. I think this only the 3rd time in 2017 I have bought food at a restaurant.

Went to Alfio's tonight. Absolutely wonderful. They have won many awards at taste of cincy and blue ash. Well deserved.

Worked the UC game and then watched the UK game at Skyline Tavern. Had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with some waffle fries.

Made a return visit to Tony's of Lexington Saturday night. Absolutely, without a doubt the best steak in Lexington. Great atmosphere as well. Quite pricey, but to me it's worth every dime.

3 Ladies Thai Cuisine, Florence. Not great, not bad. 2 stars out of 4.
