Eating Out 2017

Featured Replies

I ate at Woolworth last night. Not kidding. Really cool place in Dallas. Second floor of what I'm guessing may have been a former Woolworth store below. Had the scallops! Great.

Having fresh made guacamole at the Admirals club today. It may just be my dinner.

Steak hoagie, mushroom sauce, cheese and pickles. Snappy Tomato.

Crab fritters, fish and chips with remoulade, and Vanilla Bean Crème Brûlée at the pub in Wegman's.

Pizza Hut again, meat lovers wasn't bad.

Wendy's. Baked potato with cheese chrispy chicken sandwich and frosty.

Went to Taco Bell for the first time in many years for lunch and had the crunchy combo deal for $5. Wasn't half bad for a fast food meal.

Mrs C1 and i had LaRosas for dinner the next day. I'm a sucker for their french onion soup. She ordered me a three meat calzone. Warning to those in their 40s...take a prilosec before going to bed other wise you may be rudely awakened with heart burn around 4:30a.

Let's just say I enjoyed more conversation with my Lord and Savior than what is customary under normal circumstances! :lol2:

The Lord and LaRosas work in mysterious ways...:thumb:

Actually got to go to a restaurant and sit down. Went to Olive Garden. I had all you. Could eat soup and salad . I ate 3 bouls of the Zuppa soup. It was so good. Didn't eat much salad also had the stuffed mushrooms. They were awesome. Husband had pasta but couldn't eat it. We shared the Apple dessert, it was also very good.

For lunch, we took advantage of our Frisch's 25th anniversary coupons that we got in the mail. Daughter got the breakfast bar and H2O, her significant other got buffalo chicken nuggets, fries and sweet tea, the missus and I got Big Boys and fries and H2O.

Total bill was under 19 bucks.

Helens Asian in Columbus is very very good . Sounds weird , Helen the Asian lady , but it was great .

Thai iced tea is da bomb.

Walt's hitching post. 4 of us. Sitting at the bar since we didn't have reservations. Guy at the end of the bar gets this huge strip. We see it and are amazed. Us Guys do a dozen oysters. Gals do the crab leg and shrimp chilled cocktail. I doubled it up so we got some crab meat as well. We order the huge strip, divide it into 4 with the bonus scallop on each one.

Head to a York street cafe for dessert. Split a couple of them. Head over to Dueling piano bar at the Syndicate.

What a Great night.

I agree. It is misweet tea on steroids. Sisters also has a frozen Thai Iced Tea that is amazing.
