I had Bourbon House Pizza in Florence KY over the weekend. They have a Chicago style pizza.....outstanding!

Went out with the wife and her ladies for brunch at Ladder 19 in Clifton yesterday. They all got the bottomless mimosas and a breakfast skillet.

 

I went for a Wake and Bake burger and a few beers. Liked the place quite a bit.

The little dawgs and i hit up Chuy's in Florence on Saturday. Each of us went with a "Big as Yo face" Burrito, and enough Creamy Jalapeño Dip to sink the Titanic. It has become a favorite of ours in short order!

Carmines last night Family style pasta joint. Very good and reasonable.

The Modern the night before. Artsy fartsy and super expensive. $500 for 3 of us.

Capitol Grill Saturday, can go wrong there.

Dos Caminos Friday night. Our go to Mexican joint.

 

Only thing I missed out on was getting street meat and or a slice of NY style pizza.

5 Guys for husband plus a McDonald's milk shake. I had toco bell. Man will I be glad when I get home and cook us some good meals.

Is The Modern in MoMa in NYC? I stopped in the bar there one of the more recent times I visited NYC. I didn't stay long lol. Pretty sure the name of the restaurant was The Modern though.

You are correct! That's the one. Every item on the menu had a word/food that I didn't know what it was. It was tasty.

I thought that name sounded familiar. I didn't eat there, just stopped in for a drink. I nearly ordered the Truffle Risoto from the bar, mainly because I've never had Truffle's. But we already had dinner plans so I just had a couple of drinks.

I hit the 915 in Fort Thomas for a tasty burger this afternoon.

Bob Evans. Husband had chopped steak and gravey, mashed potatoes and green beans. I had broasted chicken tenders ,FF, and Cole slaw. It was fair.

Eating in mostly with the lovely lady in Seattle. She is headed for a girls weekend this weekend, so a buddy and I are headed to Woodson Bend.

 

He is bringing rib eyes for one night and we'll probably do Guthrie's River House or Texas Roadhouse the other. He is a fix it kinda' guy so he will do a few things around the place and I'll buy him some dinner. We'll probably Netflix a few good old movies and talk about our younger days when we were "all that"!

Anyone had the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich at McDonald's? Was wondering if it was worth trying.
