As long as GA didn't trip him.

No, seriously, hope he mends swiftly.

I wonder if he will still have a say in GA's return.

Does it make you wonder how many years he has left coaching?

Time to see what Capel has to show during his absence.

Leaving a much better team this time, than he did last time he had to leave.

@UKCoachCalipari I just got done texting Coach K. Feel bad for him and told him I’ll be praying for his quick recovery.

Audition for Capel....

Considering that he'll turn 70 this season and he's in his 42nd (or 43rd?) season of coaching, it is fair to wonder.

So will he take these wins and losses off his record like the last time?

Coach K is almost 70? Man I had no clue he was that old.

He's got some good hair dye.

And before a heating pad can be applied an NCAA official makes a statement this PM that states " we will certainly take into account Coach K's absence " when seeding time comes . If there was ever any doubt , which there shouldn't be , that the NCAA bends over backwards for Duke this should take of it . Just my own opinion but K sees the writing on the wall once yet again . His over rated team is getting ready to get hammered in a tough ACC IF he sticks around . He can wash his hands of Mr Trip and any BAD results this bunch might put up . Kennard cant guard anyone , they have no PG , and he knew if he hung around things were going south. He's a total phony and I can only hope they fall over the edge of the cliff they are on .

I'm a UK fan but this is crazy. This Duke team is good. UK fans of any fan base should get the growing pains of young talent.

This is Capel's audition. No pressure.

My point is not really the talent of this current team , its more about the obvious bias of the NCAA . And noting the two times when K's back went out his teams were not exactly on top of the world. Again just my opinion , but this team was headed downhill FAST . I'm not buying the " Va Tech is legit" talk. They have no legit PG , Tatum is fine, Giles looks timid as heck . 5 star Bolden looks slow and not ready. Mr Trippy is on a vacation ( soon to be back with K's back being bad and all) My point is things were headed downhill. He bailed. He's a phony .
