Once again Obama is proving what everyone has always assumed.

Yep, that he is three steps ahead of us all.

I'm angry with everyone who allowed this anti-semitic resolution to pass. But President Obama is our leader who decided to side against our strongest friend in the Middle East in his closing hours in office. For that reason I have every intention on calling him out because Israel like America should always stand on the right side not the evil that is anti-semitism.

So this is what Israel does when they don't get their way? Pull the anti-Semitic card? Phhhtttt....pulling cards doesn't work anymore in 2016. Thought they knew.

The Yasir Arafat that led the PLO terrorist organization and that Ronald Reagan began dialogue with in 1988?

Another question I have for everyone ... as mentioned by others above, why all the outrage against Obama when 14 other nations including Britain, France, Spain, and Japan also either supported or chose not to veto this resolution?

And didn't they actually vote against it while the US abstained from voting?

I've been around on Obama. Greatest POTUS of my lifetime.

We both know he is near the worst. Jimmy Carter is glad he came along.

Yep, that he is three steps ahead of us all.

:lol2::lol2::lol2:

More like two steps behind.

Once more I will clarify.

I merely pointed out that Israel attacked first in the six day war. I only did this because a poster alluded to the notion that Israel won the disputed territories after being attacked.

I am not a supporter of the PLO or any group that wages war on innocents.

Same one. Here is how and why it happened. Which proves what everyone else knew. Arafat followed the Quran to a "T". That it was ok to lie to your enemies or anyone else for that matter. Below is a article from 1988. Look at what this snake promised. Should have been met with cross hairs.

WASHINGTON, Dec. 14— President Reagan today authorized the start of a ''substantive dialogue'' with the Palestine Liberation Organization, which he said had finally met the American conditions for direct talks after more than a decade.

Nah. Not for me. Better than Reagan, Clinton, Bushes and Carter for me.

That's only in America.

I don't see how calling out Israel for their actions is anti-Semitic.

Got it. Excuses are accepted for some and not for others.

I think if you look at Reagan policy on Israel and Obama policy on Israel you will find a lot of similarities. Both are viewed overall in policy as pro-Israel and both stood up and publicly rebuked Israel.

The bottom line is this. Israel does not dictate what US policy is in the Middle East concerning Israel and Palestine. The US should not blindly support everything Israel does. The US dictates our policy and we should not support and do everything Israel wants us to do. Just like Reagan did and just like Obama has done.

One more comment - there will never be peace in the middle east between Israel and Palestine (I know, I know ... there will never be peace no matter what...but in theory ...) as long as there are settlements in the East Jerusalem and West Bank. The world is trying to make that clear to Israel. The US abstained from the vote and let Israel see how this is viewed by the world.

This John Kerry speech is so bad and full of flaws. I remeber why he was such a bad candidate.

There will never be peace in the Middle East as long as the Israel neighbors don't recognize Israel's right to exisit. That is the main reason Palestinians did not agree in 2000 and 2008 peace talks.

Arab nations attacked Israel with three major offenses before the first settlement was built. Name another time in recent memory a winner of a conflict did not get to dictate what happened with land? Why are we hypocritical with Israel? Did we allow Germany to keep all their land after WW2? How about the Ottoman Empire after WW1?

It is hypocritical of the world to attack Israel while Hamas , Hezzbolah and the PLO terrorist organzations continue violence and deny Israel right to exisit. To side with these criminal terrorist organzations is a joke.

What claim does Palestinians have to any land ?

Another question can you honestly say this had any other meaning than a direct shot at Israeli leadership and the incoming Trump leadership. To do this in the final days in office isn't great leadership. Everyone knows Trump's policy will be different and all of this will be reversed.

If the Obama adminstration thought the resolution was the right thing why not have the guts to vote for it or abstain when it came up in 2011.

This vote did more to jeopardize a two state solution than any action by a US president because now we have backed Israel in a corner against it's enemies.

If there is major conflict in the immediate future we can point to this resolution.

There are many Jews and Palestinians that live in peace with each other and I'm sure Israel would love for a peace between them but leaders of the Palestinians want Jews eliminated and use territory they have to allow groups like Hamas to launch terror attacks from those places.
