December 11, 20169 yr Did I just read Jackson was left off 10% of the ballots ? Can we revoke votes ? Will those names be made public? I hope so.
December 11, 20169 yr Will those names be made public? I hope so. My buddy just forwarded me the tweet. A Louisville grad trying to confirm.
December 11, 20169 yr Lamar is #6 in highest percentage of votes received by a Heisman winner. They put up some stats in the broadcast that I am probably not remembering correctly but it something like this....among all Heisman trophy winners, this season Lamar was #1 in total yards, #1 in another category and #3 in points scored. Someone correct that info if they have it. Also, Lamar is the first FBS player ever to throw for over 3,300 yards and rush for over 1,500 yards.

December 11, 20169 yr Still find it hard to see how he can win it and lose 2 games, one to a finalist who has his team in final 4, 2 years in a row and lose to a team at home while 27 point favorites, and have the costly turnover. Neither team they lost to is in top 25. Not saying he isn't a very good player, just my opinion on this.

The Clemson loss took a lot of wind out of their sails. You have seen enough rivalry games, so you know it wasn't a shock to see UK beat the Cards. Congrats to Lamar, well deserved.
December 11, 20169 yr Not sure how any of that is relevant when picking the most valuable player. I'm not sure he is the actual best player It's not. What is then You mad bro? No, he is a really good player and whatever award he gets he deserves
December 11, 20169 yr Congrats to him and Louisville! That is awesome for their program. I think he will come second to Baker Mayfield next year in one of the closest Heisman voting ever.
December 11, 20169 yr I think he more than deserved the award. But I saw this article yesterday and just shook my head. Lamar Jackson joins these least-deserving Heisman winners of all time

No matter how great of an accomplishment an individual has made, there are those around that will always throw stones. Heck, Jesus of Nazareth couldn't even survive it.
