Protests?

Featured Replies

I didnt think they needed tour buses to take the protesters there. All they need is a few livestock trucks for the sheep to be taken there.

Is there a link where this came from? Where did this protest take place?

I see your logic here but......felons and criminals likely aren't doing much voting. I'd like to see the stats as to how many of these folks are registered at all. I lived in one of those areas (Philadelphia to be exact) and knew lots of Democrats. None of them committed any crimes or were bad people.

Not saying anything about the criminals, was more on the line of those are democratic governed areas and some of the most liberal areas in the country politically. Why do you think they have the highest crime rates? No bashing, interested in the discussion.

Obviously, cities typically are going to have higher crime rates. I don't think it has anything to do with being liberal....just from experience (I worked in inner City Philadelphia for several years), many of those folks are just trying to survive...they have very little time for politics. Broken families because of drugs, and incarceration, the inability to attract/maintain quality teachers in the inner city schools, etc. If you've ever been in an inner city environment for any period of time, you'd see there is a lot of hopelessness and frustration.

I'm not certain, but I would guess Chicago, as the tall building in the background, appears to be the Willis Tower.

I thought Chicago as well, I just figured if all those buses were really for a Trump protest, there would be a story on something that large. There were alot of buses in that video...

Poor people are not political, they are desperate.

I think it has to do with the erosion of the family. When you tell women they don't need to be married to raise kids that the government will help that is bad. When you create the enviornment where you give people just enough to live in poverty in the ghetto, they will find a way to survive, drugs, crime, arrests that lead to criminal records keeping their opportunities at a minimum. Instead of providing opportunity we have created ghettos instead. Keep the poor there mentality. The welfare system while at the beginning had good intentions it has become a form of control for democrats. They have pandered to these areas to garner votes while their policies have enslaved the vote by fear of losing handouts from the evil repulblicans. When in reality family structure is a good thing, being married is not a bad thing. Republicans, most don't like handouts because it strips people of opportunities. I would never advocate taking them away but they should come with daylight at the end of the tunnel.

Obviously Chicago with Sears Tower in background.

From link:

The video was taken at 3:30pm on South Canal Street in Chicago on Saturday. As our reader points out, hundreds of the participants that took part in the downtown Chicago protests from November 12 were bused in using these vehicles. Other arrived by train.

BTW, for 'the other side' of possibilities....

About All Those “Trump Protest Buses”: Zero Hedge is an Idiot | American Everyman

The zerohedge article says that most of the busses are from Wisconsin. Wisconsin does not strike me as the radical-for-hire place.

And if all these busses dropped off people who then walked to the protest site it seems that would be more interesting video.

There are a lot of for-hire agitators for sure. And there ring leaders who can whip stuff up in Chicago without the out-of-staters, as long as the the plan is not not destroy the locals neighborhoods. But when you have CNN camera-men playing faux protestor/agitator you probably do not need to ship in this many people.

Thanks for the links.

And in line with your second post, a street full of buses is hardly convincing that those buses took protesters to Chicago.

Guys, when you show me pics of buses in a teretiary convention market, I might give some credence to thr angst. But these markets you are posting pics from are huge primary convention destinations, and we are in the peak season of state and national association convention season, as well as the beginning of industry trade show season. Besides transportation for conventioneers to and from hotels, off site convention activities also require transportation.

Several of those coaches are from colleges, and Cavallo is a major provider of collegiate motorcoach transportation in IL, IN and WI. Maybe there was a collegiate event?
