Longest you have been without a shower/bath

Featured Replies

Don't know if it was exactly 2 weeks, but awful close to it if not. Army days, in the desert training. And we trained ALL the time. Sometimes they would let us go into some old barracks on the training post to take a quick shower after 5-6 days...lot of times not. If you were lucky you might have enough down time to grab a rag out of your ruck sack, wet it down with water out of your canteen or a 5 gallon water jug and wipe off a little. I can tell you this, after being out there for about 2 weeks, a shower never felt so dang good.

10 days, give or take; when I was sick a while back.

I honestly can't think of a time I have gone over a day and a half without a shower.

Either when I've been sick or post op after a surgery. Probably 3-4 days.

5-7. Don't remember exactly. I had mono and was sleeping the majority of the time.

Hospital stays of 2+ weeks each, coronary ICU.

When I had my surgery back in 2013 wasn't allowed to bathe for a week, it was brutal. Do you guys know how much a bear can smell after a week. Yikes.

Probably 3-4 days back in HS when I had mono.

I guess two or three days on camping trips. Driving home required the windows to be open.

Went on a canoe/camping trip in the Boundary Waters of northern Minnesota between my junior and senior year of high school. Was June, but weather broke cold. I had planned to bathe a couple of times but cold(er) water scared me off. I think I went either four or five days. Coming out, we stopped at a hotel in Wisconsin. I'm guessing their hot water heater still hasn't filled back up!

For former military personnel this can be a long time. I was in the field for almost 30 days once. You do what you can in a creek or spring, but that's not really a bath.

One of the reasons I love showers and water sooooooooo much now.

Well I'm 26 years old, so... 26 years?

I don't feel like I've ever gone more than 2 days without a shower of some sort. Even when the ice storm hit.
