So explain if you would what changes you would make? Everyone who followed HHS knew before going into last season Highlands was going to struggle for the next couple years. That was before Weinrich coached his first game last year. They just didn't have the talent they have been used to having and many saw that and were correct.

 

So please explain to all of us who don't have a clue although we predicted this very thing, what the coaches should do to change things up so they will win against these teams they are not beating.

 

Go back to man blocking, D coordinator needs to go back to his role as a position coach, weinrich needs to be coaching the D, Scott turner needs to be the main position coach for the lineman...... just for starters.

I will simply say, sometimes you could have the best technique and scheme but if you don't have the players who can execute it then it just doesn't work. Ryle was going to beat them no matter what tonight. Ryle just has too many weapons.

Instead of making all of the excuses/suggestions for Highlands how about it is a down year like Ryle had a couple of before last year. Give credit where credit is due, Ryle might be as talented as they have ever been.

What happened to Coach T? Is he not the Oline coach anyone? Never had him as a position coach but everyone loved him as a guy and his coaching ability. Very unfortunate if he's not there.

I agree coach T got it done for a lot of years and coach hall is definitely a good man but from what I've heard they made the switch to coach hall when they switched from man blocking to zone blocking.

Ryle has a very good team. They have multiple D1 players and they didn't miss a beat on offense. Highlands is in a lower class and had their hands full tonight. I expected a Ryle win just not by this much.
