I think he shot 40% as a Freshman. Then he decided to take off 2 years and 90% of this season before adding it back into his game.

I have never understood AP. Always always always root for him, he seems like a great kid. But he seems to ....what?....not have the intangibles? IDK. He can miss a two inch shot like nobodies' business. If he aint dunking it, it is amazing how many ways he can find to not hit a shot. And with the ball, he is gonna spin move. Maybe nobody is in the direction he spins, in which case it looks like a great move. But if there is somebody there, he spins anyway and basically murders them with a charge. And dribbling, has anyone ever dribbled the darn ball away off his foot more?

 

I know it doesn't sound like it, but I just root for him so much and every fifth game he looks like a world beater and all my words above are stupid. Then right back to the same ole. Can't figure it out. GO BIG BLUE

This is spot on MayfieldFan. Ap is a great kid and a super athlete. However, he is not a dog. He does not have the dog mentality that a Ulis or Murray have. I still pull for the kid because his likability is off the charts.

 

Ap will do big things in life, I hope he finishes his career with a bang!

These type teams can be a burr in the saddle if you allow them to hit shots, have some bounces go their way, and get their confidence up. They can cause problems and make you sweat out a game that should be a blowout. Hopefully they're not looking ahead to Indiana.

If UK is caught looking ahead to IU, CBS and BBN may be sorely disappointed this weekend. The Cats are just not strong enough to overlook a good team.

I agree. I love the new found confidence of everyone, but I am still a skeptic. Everything is a win in my book considering how poor UK has looked at times, and as poor as they've looked all year defensively.
