Here is something to think about the Cats and Stony Brook. Earlier this season Stony Brook lost in OT at Vandy who beat the Cats at Vandy fairly easily, but they also lost at Western Kentucky.

 

Common Opponents:

NJIT- Cats won by 30 at home; Stony won by 22 @NJIT

Albany-Cats won by 13 at home; Stony split with Albany

 

Thus saying this other the game with Wichita St. this is the toughest opening game the Cats have had in a few years. Like Cal said on ESPN giving teams a lower seed is really not fair to who they play.

UK didn't play Wichita state in the first round. They played Kansas state first that year.

Ironically enough, I ended up watching the Stony Brook game Saturday while I was in the waiting room at a doctor's office. They have one player who could compete at the high-major level and while he dominated Vermont...that's not happening to Kentucky. UK will win this game by 25-30.
