OlDog75
The shift has derailed his career. JA, he's the only one that can do something about it. He's just too darn bull-headed to do it.

NKY Bandit
Read on ESPN a report that the Blue Jays are going after the wrong Red. They argue that Votto is the hometown guy and is underpaid for his performance. To be fair, Votto said he loves Cincy and doesn't want to leave. Votto would fit in nicely with that lineup since first base is a weakness for them. He'd put up scary numbers in that offense.
OlDog75
Or lacks the talent to do so. He's talented, he's a smart guy or he wouldn't have gotten this far. It's just does he WANT to make a change? At one point the last few years I was willing to bet he couldn't see well. Now I just think it's stubbornness, he continues to wiff on the same type pitches. NKY Bandit
My issue with Bruce and a lot of Reds is that they seem to always be guessing. Not sure if their hands are that slow or are just not well prepared. How do you get fooled that often?

Votto would probably lead off for the Jays and you're right, that would be scary.

If only we had a quality hitting coach like they do in Toronto. :sssh:
