Carson should have been recruited by UK and U of L. Duke actually sent him letters, but he did not want to play that far away if they had offered him. .

 

So Duke offers and he says no because it's too far? Come on.

He should be Mr. Basketball without a doubt. There are other good players, none like Carson.

They got a big steal. Just like Indiana State when Larry decided to say adios to IU and Coach Knight.

With all due respect he can't play at UK or Duke. Could he play some by his JR and SR year? Maybe depending how many top recruits come in.

 

After watching Duke and UK this year. Yes he can play at those schools. UK and Duke are not that good this year even with all those All Americans they have. Just my opinion

Do you have a family? Do you know Carson's background and history? Do you know why he wanted to stay close to his home? When you find out, maybe you will not make such a comment.

Heading over the watch Owen County and North Oldham game. If you want to make an intelligent comment about Carson, there should be plenty of seats tonight to watch him.

North Oldham has a 8th grade guard that's gonna be better than stockton.

This article stated that Carson Williams was much stronger and could jump higher than Bird...( which I will agree ) Larry Birds stats in his senior year in high school was 31 pts. 21 reb. pet game. Now the glaring disparity here is the rebounding avg. of 21 compared to Williams 10...With Carson having the physical tools to totally dominate the glass, and only to bring down slightly less than half of Birds totals??? Well as they say Ladies and Gentlemen...That will be the end of today's lesson!

This is even better than reading the grade school thread which has about a million posts and will have a couple broken hearts in a few years.

Threads like this only seem to disparage the player, in this instance Carson. Garbage thread really, great kid and player. Look forward to seeing him in the 8th region tourney as well.
