February 8, 201610 yr Let's not get silly. McCarron had two really good drives to start the game and then got dominated. Once they figured him out, it was ugly. Thing is this Denver D was great without being "old school". They got after the passer with 4 and 5, crushed the run and kept teams out of the end zone. It wasn't really about being "nasty". They got you off the spot, defended the entire field and still shut down the run. They were GREAT and should be the story here... No doubt gt. McCarron gives us HOPE in the Bengals and that is a good thing.
February 8, 201610 yr Last night will go down as one of the best defensive Super Bowls ever. Denver's defense was amazing, Newton couldn't get anything going at all. I'm happy that Manning went out with the win.
February 8, 201610 yr Difference in class acts. Manning didn't act like that when he lost a super bowl. He answered questions and didn't run off like a little crybaby. Now I have someone other than Tom Brady to cheer against every game. I wanted a reporter to ask him why he didn't try to get his fumble back. Those were some of my thoughts as well. As for not answering .... especially after Manning had complemented him so much when ask in an interview this past week. When ask what he thought about Cam, Manning said that he thought that he was great and loved watching him play and his (Cam's) enthusiasm. That's the difference in Class (Manning) and .......well, it rhymes with class (Newton). Should anyone have a son that loves football and is playing at a youth, any level ...point at Peyton Manning and tell them to act, carry themselves like that guy.

February 8, 201610 yr Congrats to all the Bronco and Manning fans. Bronco defense was stellar last night. Pressure from the inside-out was relentless all game. Michael Oher looked like he was on roller skates at times credit to Miller, Jackson, and Ware. And UK Wildcat Danny Trevathan was solid with 8 total tackles! Newton will learn from last night and we'll see him again in a Super Bowl. Enjoyed "Uptown Funk" at the half and my two favorite commercials were 1. The Doritos Fetus and 2. Honda Singing Sheep... Now God forbid we have to find excitement in PGA Golf and the occasional X-Games contest until March Madness kicks in! :lol2:

February 8, 201610 yr I like Cam, and last night isn't going to change that. This is the first time he's been in that spot, so hopefully he uses this as a learning experience. If he gets there again and acts the same way my tone may change, but I'm certainly not writing him off at this point.
