What does your desk at work look like?

Featured Replies

Ok, I know not everyone has a desk associated with their job, but many do. For those that do, what does yours look like? Almost nothing on it at all, just a phone and computer? Lots of files, paperwork, etc., but very neat and organized? Messy and cluttered.

Not gonna lie, mine looks like a bag lady's cart just threw up on it:puke:. Going to take some time next week and clean it...it is in BAD need of it.

Phone, Computer, 2 monitors, a picture, and a couple stacks of paper, so not too bad.

The file cabinet drawers (all 19 of them) are full though. :lol2:

Papers lying around waiting for my action. lots of post it notes with scribble on it.

Organized chaos. You can see more papers than desk.

Resembles an elephant graveyard.

The stacks of file folders and scraps of paper with scribbled notes and thoughts belie an organization that I just don't have time to explain...

So I Google "messy desk pictures" to post one on here. I get to the following picture and for the first 2-3 seconds thought "who the heck took a picture of my desk and posted on line"! This picture looks eerily similar to my actual desk...monitor, phone, chair, style of work station, some of the clutter, post it's, etc.

My desk area looks like a normal cubicle. My keyboard....that's a different story...there is a story to tell with different sections regarding past lunches...for instance, I know that part of an oyster cracker from last week has made a new home down in-between my F and G keys.

Generally neat. I do have two stacks of paper one completed to be filed and one to do. It can get cluttered at times, but mostly fairly organized.

Very organized, except I'm the only one who knows my personal chaos. My boss can't find anything because I want him to need me. Works for me.:sneaky:

Work from home, so my desk is typically my kitchen table. I have an office but hardly ever use it.

Phone, computer, camera, car keys. I'm living out my dream of becoming Memphis Raines.
