Sunday night had a great ribeye at The Alamo Steakhouse in Gatlinburg.

Monday night had Sauerkraut and Ribs at The Old Mill in Pigeon Forge.

Tuesday night had grilled pork chops at The Apple Barn, also, in Pigeon Forge.

We ate breakfast at the Log Cabin Pancake House in Gatlinburg, Monday and Tuesday morning.

So Friday night after a black tie dinner at the Galt House, we decided we needed a "snack" to get us through the night. So we went to a place called Eight Up in downtown Louisville. It's on the talk of the Hilton Garden Inn. Awesome patio. I had never been there, but my wife has been talking about their hushpuppies since her first visit. Well, I understand why now. They are not on the menu, but they are absolutely amazing. Looking at the menu it looks like a very nice place to dine.

Dollar hot dog and beer night at the Clearwater Threshers.

Back on the no carb thing.

Made myself a hot dog salad, throwing away the buns and making a bowl out of the wrap foil. Covered the dogs with sauerkraut, jalapeno peppers, lettuce, and onions.

Club sandwich and potato skins from local bar.

Ive been doing no carbs for almost three weeks. It is not easy.

Thursday, meatball subs from Westshore Pizza at the Clearwater Threshers minor league game. Mrs. S and I just ate the meatballs, sauce, and cheese. The bread acted as a container and was tossed afterward.

Once you get used to it, it's not bad. I miss pasta more than anything. I went off of it over the holidays and I had to have biscuits and gravy in Gatlinburg. You don't have to be a Nazi about it. Stay as close as you can. I save all my carbs for beer on the weekends.

Last 7 days have been a blur. I've eaten 3 breakfast meals at the home. Every other meal we have gone out. Some meals were over the top fantastic. @Wireman I have some good recommendations for you !
