Caminante (little Mexican place down past Pasquale's). My go-to lunch special #1 - Chili relleno (nice and hot), taco, beans, guacamole salad. Water. Free chips and salsa (of course). $5.99 plus tax. Food was to us in 10 or 12 minutes. Buy 7 lunch specials (they give you a card) and get the next one free.

Why anybody would pay more than that for mystery meat at a fast food place is beyond me, unless circumstances dictate.

Last Sunday we ate dinner in the Meyer's Hard Court Club before the Women's game at USF.

All you can eat and drink buffet open for the entire game.

*Pull Pork Sliders

*Fried Macaroni Poppers

*Chips & Salsa

*Fresh Fruit and Veggies with dips.

*Cookies for dessert.

*Beer and wine, soft drinks, and water.

I paid $125 apiece for access to this for the year. So this game cost us $6.25 each.

Yesterday I met friends for brunch at The Cafe on Brent Street. I had the Southern Grits bowl, grits, scrambled eggs, tomatoes, cheddar cheese and bacon. Couldn't finish the whole thing. It was $6.95.

My wife and I usually go to the gym Saturday and Sunday mornings and go to Chipotle after (get my salad bowl with black beans, brown rice and chicken only - none of the bad stuff)...

Lines at Chipotle now are almost non-existent due to the health scares...love it...in and out much quicker!

Three of us GRC teachers took a road tirp to the game last Friday night. We ate at Cracker Barrel before the game. I got the Friday special of fried Cod fish, double order of mustard greens and several slices of onion. It was awesome. Bill was around $10.00 with $3.00 tip.
