May 16, 201610 yr Lunch yesterday at cracker barrel in Columbus. Had the fried chicken. Supper last night we got pizza from rascals which is right next to hotel. In Cleveland. Have eaten there many times and always good. Weather was to cold and rainy to walk down town. Hopefully tonight we can try the new barbecue restaurant of Michael Symonds

May 17, 201610 yr Ate at Mabel's barbecue last night. I had the brisket. Best I have eaten. They ask you if you want fat or lean. Of course I chose the fat. Husband had the ribs. Big meaty and tender Was disappointed in the sauce. Only 2 to choose from. One very hot ,other very thin and runny was very surprised they didn't have any pulled pork on The menu.
May 17, 201610 yr We've been to the Fuji in Eastgate several times. I'm not sure if the Fuji in Ashland is part of the Fuji chain of restaurants or if it is a local thing. I know the owners of the Ashland restaurant also own one in Charleston, WV. Not sure if they are just a local family or if they are part of the chain, but either way the food and staff is excellent. May 18, 201610 yr I had a good old fashioned greasy pool room cheeseburger last night! This makes me want a fish sandwich from the pool room in West Liberty.

May 19, 201610 yr We ate at Longhorns tonight. I had the brisket sandwich, pretty good for a non bbq joint.
