I was watching on my phone because the game I was at was depressing as hell. This performance didn't brighten my mood, either.

 

I'm starting to hate Tuesday games.

Right now, U.K. has no inside game at all. I think that we all knew this was going to be more of a perimeter orientated team but I didn't think it would be backcourt Has To Win the game if the game was won. Lee keeps getting in foul trouble, I think that is more due to not moving his feet, working to get in position, I thought, like I think all did that Skal would be a much bigger factor, yes he is a freshman but should imo be much further along. Skal's problem is that he wants no part of physical play. Unless that changes he will continue to be insignificant for the most part. Willis doesn't seem to want to play defense. Poythress ? I am probably more disappointed in him. This team absolutely has to have Alex to make any big waves at all aand what bothers me is I thought that he would be dominating play.This UK team will go as far as Ulis + Poythress takes them,.

Ulis and Briscoe again had good games, Ulis has established himself as the #1 absolute leader. Briscoe has really been impressive with how hard he plays the game.

This wasn't all that impressive at all but it was a Win.

 

On to Auburn on Sat..

Willis is awful, Poythress is awful, Lee is awful and Skal is awful.

To be fair, I think I've had these sentiments for all but about three UK/Mississippi State games since 1987!

I haven't followed it closely enough and maybe I missed some discussion on this but could Tai Wynyard help this team? Is he just not ready or does Cal not plan on him playing at all this year? He certainly has the size that they are lacking inside.
