No criticizing refs (we are all human and make mistakes)

No chanting "USA, USA, USA"

No participating in the Wave

No Holding up props during introductions

No turning your back during introductions

No distracting the other team

No dressing in attire that draws attention to oneself

No body paint (except face)

oh..and NO FUN!

Simply ridiculous.

Further proof that future generations will be much "wussier" than the previous!

Once again, instead of dealing with the problem individual or group, blanket restrictions are made because those in charge don't have the stones to deal with problems. UNBELIEVABLE!

Somebody's cheesehead was way too heavy and created brain damage.

I haven't done the airball chant in many years; it's not because I think it's morally reprehensible but because I think it's cursed. Twice my sophomore year in college we hammered a dude with the airball chant and twice that guy nailed a game winner on us. Never said it again.

I say CovCath gets a Wisconsin team or two on the schedule, and give them a full dose of the "Crazies".

A) I believe the Diocese of Covington wanted negative cheers stopped at home games a few years ago and I think "scoreboard" was one of them.

B) Why would Wisconsin say , "USA USA" is a negative chant?

C) I always found it fascinating that no matter if you were in CALI or TEXAS or KY or NY everyone sang, "AIRBALL" the same way.

Best student section chant was back in the day by Harrison County during postseason play when the game was in hand:

"Seas-ons o-ver"

Tough to come back from that.

As for "B", I get it. When I was in school, it was invariably chanted at a kid while taking his free throws who the students either knew was born in another country or had a different-looking name. Was never a fan of using the chant that way. I love the USA chant in every other usage. So while I don't know that this was the way to go about it, I get what they're going for.

Could we start a thread on actual chants that should be or might be banned ? I'd offer R U S S E L L Russell, Russell Go to ..... . that was chanted multiple times per night back in the day .
