Odell Beckham acted like a total moron in one game. Burfict is a liability in every game.

That made no sense whatsoever.

Not sure how 55 didn't get fined for this cheap shot last week but it's a perfect illustration that he doesn't get it. This isn't the Raiders of the 70s. We can all cry about it but the rules are the rules. You can't trust him.

The same as "You can take the boy out of country, but you can't take country out of the boy". Burfict and Jones still acting like immature idiots like they always have no matter where they are playing.

I got the crux of it, he just George Bushed it.

I believe MOST, not all of the blame falls on Hill. I cannot believe people are actually saying the Bengals should have taken three knees and then kicked a FG when you get the ball at roughly the Steelers 30 with 90 seconds to go. You get one first down and the game is over. Run it three times and tell your runner to not fight for extra yards and keep two hands on the ball at all times. If Gio was not hurt on the cheap shot, he is in and not Hill. Hill got about six yards on first down. If he does not fumble the Bengals are in great shape to get the first down and ice the game. It is NOT Marvin's fault that Hill fumbled. It simply is not. I blame Marvin for not handling the idiots named Burfict and Pacman but not for running the ball at the end.

If they did take three knees and (1) Nugent misses the FG or (2) the Steelers score a TD to win, many on here would be blaming Marvin for not trying to put the game away by getting one first down at the end.

Take 3 knees. Doesn't matter if you go for a FG or not. Steelers burn all their TOs and Ben can't throw the ball 50 feet with anything on it.

Pretty sure no one thought Ben was coming back at that point, which makes it even more obvious to not do anything that risks losing the ball (i.e. Hand it off in that miserable weather).

True, but I assume Marvin called the play though.

Or the OC. Either way, it's up to Hill to hang on to the ball.

So we are upset with Burfict because he laid a hit that was determined legal by the officials earlier in the game?

Hill is no more responsible for the loss than a lot of guys...including the offensive coordinator who opted to run th ball in the red zone with 90 seconds left instead of kneeling the ball three times and then kicking a field goal. Not a chance I pin it on Hill.

Not a single team in the NFL would have taken three knees with 90 seconds left when the other team has 3 timeouts to then take a 50 yard field goal in the rain. Every team in the NFL would run the ball to try to get a first down because a first down ends it. Plus running the ball gets you closer to a field goal even if you don't get the first down. The Bengals running the ball was the move EVERY team NFL team would have done. Hill cant fumble simple as that.

Thank you. Taking a knee three straight times may get you fired. You take a knee three straight times and then punt, what idiot coach would do that. Take three straight knees and attempt a 50 yard FG, what idiot coach would do that. If they missed, Pitt gets the ball on about the 40 yard line with a min to go. One first down and you win the game. These guys are professionals, hold on to the ball in critical times.
