December 4, 201510 yr U. S. Attorney General, Loretta Lynch, in speaking about the attack by the radicalized islamic trio in San Bernadino, had this to say... She referred to the mass shooting as an “unspeakable crime,” and stated, “Whatever the result of the investigation — we don’t know a lot right now. But one thing is clear, that violence like this has no place in this country.” Lynch added, ” This is not what we stand for, this is not what we do, this is not what we work for, it’s not what we live for. It’s antithetical to our values.” So far so good, but then this... “We’re at the point where these issues have come together really like never before in law enforcement thought and in our nation’s history and it gives us a wonderful opportunity and a wonderful moment to really make significant change.” Does the rhetoric here turn your stomach as much as it does mine? The slaughter of 14 Americans is nothing more to the head of our Justice Department than a wonderful opportunity. I don't always agree with him, but on this issue Glen Beck summed up my thoughts very well when he said this about the liberal agenda in our current administration... "I have never let myself believe that they didn't see the people behind the pain. I know that they think they are doing the right thing but the collective mentality has gone so far that they no longer see the individual life that is taken. Rather they only see that opportunity death presents to them. This is beyond sick. It is evil. When our head of "Justice" sees a terror strike and dead Americans as nothing more than a "wonderful opportunity" and the average citizen doesn't demand massive change we indeed will be used as rats in their grand utopian experiment"
December 4, 201510 yr I don't see it as too bad, however I wouldn't have used the word wonderful. But it is an opportunity and a moment that we all can work together on and reduce the changes of these horrific events.
December 4, 201510 yr I had to read it a couple times. That was a very bad use of words. That is very sick to use this event in this way. Very sad.
December 4, 201510 yr I get her point and I don't think it's far off. But man, what a horrible choice of words.
December 4, 201510 yr I get her point and I don't think it's far off. But man, what a horrible choice of words. This here. Poor choice of words and when you read it, it comes off as worse than in the moment of live interview. She wasn't saying this gleefully, but in more of an uplifting tone.
December 4, 201510 yr Never let a good crisis go to waste. Especially, one in the state that has the strictest gun laws.
December 4, 201510 yr I get her point and I don't think it's far off. But man, what a horrible choice of words. This. Leave out "wonderful" and I can't argue at all.
December 4, 201510 yr Especially, one in the state that has the strictest gun laws. Shoot, my bad. I thought she was talking about expelling all Muslims.

But it is an opportunity and a moment that we all can work together on and reduce the changes of these horrific events. What could we have done to prevent this from happening? California has the strictest gun laws in the nation. If you are talking about gun control, I'm interested in hearing what specifically you think would have made a difference in this terroristic act.
December 4, 201510 yr French gun laws did not protect the victims of the Paris attack.. Why do folks in the U.S. think that they will protect us ??

If you are talking about gun control, I'm interested in hearing what specifically you think would have made a difference in this terroristic act. I hear you, more gun laws aren't going to make us safe, they will just expose the honest citizens more. I think it is an opportunity for the US Government to do ANYTHING they want in the name of protecting us. 20, 50, or 100 years from now we won't even recognize America, at this pace America will become a "Police State" all in the name of protecting us. And as horrible as it sounds, Amercia better get busy killing all the bad guys in the world. The longer we wait, the more vulnerable we are and the more our own Government will have to oppress us to keep us safe.
