I didn't say either would transfer. If you have a weakness do you just take it with you to the next stop? Look in the mirror see yourself for what you are and go to work. Both those guys have a lot of positives, if they were to push each other in the offseason who knows what happens. I am a disappointed UK fan but this team is close to turning the corner I feel

Patrick Towles was never going to play in the NFL, and still isn't. If he wasn't a KY boy, nobody around here would have been saying that.

Mel Kiper Jr. at the beginning of the year had Patrick in his top 5 underclassman quarterbacks.

No. Pat didn't win any games with Boom out. If I am wrong correct me. I think Boom missed the GA game and got hurt in the TN game and came back for the Vandy game. I think that is when Boom was in and out.

To answer the question neither PT or DB transfer. If anyone transfers it will be Reese Phillips.

 

Is this a football thread or basketball thread? It's UK football so everyone reel in your expectations. The expectations for this program should be to get to 6 wins, after that everything is gravy! Coaching staff should take full blame for this team not getting to that mark. Stoops is an average head coach, but he needs to hire better assistants who have more experience to help with game planning and in game adjustments. PT needs to be the starter next season because he is the better QB, but next year is make or break season for Stoops and I'm sure he wants to give his recruits the opportunity to play.

 

Tough season for all involved, and changes will be made, but can't start getting rid of every player or coach because then you're back at where you started.

Barker struggled when the primary receiver wasn't open. He stops looking downfield and shows panic in the pocket. Best example is Badet at the end of the half. Wide open but Barker can't extend the play. Towles had consistency problems with accuracy all season. if neither guy has Boom in the backfield they are hurting.

Clueless, you do not extend the play at the end of the half with no time outs and 10 seconds on the clock when the ball is snapped.

Patrick Towles is transferring

Pat Towles has put on the UK uniform for the last time. Was he not introduced today as a senior? Believe the answer to this question is yes. He graduates in December and my bet is that he is wearing another uniform of similar colors in the spring.

 

There are a multitude of problems in Lexington and they have to be addressed from the top down IMO. Stoops needs at least one more year or possibly two so that he can at least compete with the players that he recruited. If things do not improve then maybe you look elsewhere, but in all honesty who wants this job? You can have a top 20 recruiting class and still be the 10th or 11th best in your own conference.

Was he announced during the Senior Day activities? I don't remember seeing him announced but I may have missed it.
