Pat Towles has put on the UK uniform for the last time. Was he not introduced today as a senior? Believe the answer to this question is yes. He graduates in December and my bet is that he is wearing another uniform of similar colors in the spring.

 

There are a multitude of problems in Lexington and they have to be addressed from the top down IMO. Stoops needs at least one more year or possibly two so that he can at least compete with the players that he recruited. If things do not improve then maybe you look elsewhere, but in all honesty who wants this job? You can have a top 20 recruiting class and still be the 10th or 11th best in your own conference.

CI agree! Pat will be gone. He needs a fresh start to go somewhere where he can showcase for the NFL that maybe he could play in the league. How good could he be if he had Alabama's offensive line!

Really? They took in Jake Coker. Saban has a history of bringing in transfers (especially graduate transfers) to start for his team at QB. He tried to lure Braxton Miller away from Ohio State this summer.

If they faced a frontline like Ohio State who can slow down the run game and make Coker throw the ball, they will lose. Coker is the worst starting QB Saban has had since he has been at Bama. He just gets bailed out by having the 2nd best running back in college football to hand the ball off to. My point is Towles is exactly what Saban wants in a QB, a winner.

He's a freshman and Alabama won't have to have an elite QB back there to win it all this year IMO (because OSU is likely out of playoff). Coker was there last year and knows the system better. Plus he's more mature than the other QBs, no need to throw a guy out there like Barnett just yet. Coker is a safe start for Bama

You made it sound like Barker was going to be the savior for horrible offense that UK has had all season. It turns out he was no better considering the o-line and receivers that Pat had to deal with!
