That is what makes what happened tonight so strange.
November 22, 201510 yr Zeke... You can't say that. Man... I understand that game cost you a Heisman but with the attitude it can cost you a million. I would've rode Zeke 35-40 times if you had to do it to win this game. I'm still upset but man I would like to see Urban control more of the playcalling but I understand why he doesn't.

November 22, 201510 yr Hard to explain the game plan. Call on 3rd and 8 at own 7 with 4 minutes to go summed it all up. An end around to Miller to ensure a punt into a 30 mph wind pretty much sealed the fate. Kudos to Sparty, this game wasn't even close. At one point I though Tressel was back. Both lines got their tails handed to them, and as Herby said that becomes even easier when you know you don't have to defend more than 10 yards down field. Still a great year if they can beat ttun. A New Years 6 game still possible if they win.

Let's face it, they were not that good last year but went on a 3 game tear, one against a way over confident Bama team who would have best them 8 out of 10 games. Over rated all this year as a result. It has been amusing listening to the dynasty talk this year. Next.
November 22, 201510 yr Keeping comments in the locker room doesn't accomplish anything. Get everything out in the open so stuff gets done. If it came from Cardale or JT that's one thing, but it coming from Zeke is different. He has been nothing but 100% professional since he got to Columbus. Have no problem with a player speaking his mind. I mean for the love of everything he literally had to just stand in the backfield and watch the game slip out of hand and there was nothing he could do about it. 2 carries in the second half? Something had to be said. I fully expect Urban to stand behind Zeke 100%. The locker room is where you get it out in the open...doing it in the media is like complaining about your boss in the break room, then he walks in and you offer him some of your lunch... It has zero to do with whether he is right about it or not.
November 22, 201510 yr Many didn't trust Dan Mullen at UF his first couple of years. He really didn't find his stride until the 2nd national championship. Tebows Heisman year, which was the year before, lots of fans thought he didn't know how to use all that talent. The rest is history of course, but it takes time for coaches to run the offense the way Urban wants. They were obviously idiots that didn't realize Mullen was with URB since Meyer took his first head coaching job at Bowling Green and was on staff at ND with Meyer also. Mullen is/was a huge influence of that offense.
November 22, 201510 yr For your Heisman Trophy candidate running back to get two carries in the second half of a game you are either winning or tied the whole time...think about that for a minute... I can only guess that OSU felt that they needed the extra blocker you gain from having the QB running the ball because they were getting out manned upfront. Meyer has said that Elliott is the best blocking running back he has ever seen, maybe they felt that was the best way to utilize him.

OSU loses two games in two years and wins the National Championship with its 3rd string QB last year and you call them a pretender. I should have ignored your non-sense but I could not resist.
