Watch out here.. NY is a slave state and will go after anyone who isn't a member of the state, in regards to breaking rules with firearms carrying.

I wouldn't even think twice. I'd go without hesitation.

 

As far as concealing, in the event of a terrorist attack you probably wouldn't see it coming soon enough for you to be able to even use your weapon. And I've travelled to NY hundreds of times and never been in a situation where a gun would have made me feel safer.
