I am just telling you what has been the norm with central.

 

Re watch last year's State Finals as they platooned against Belfry. Central returned 8 starters each way.

 

Maybe they aren't including oline men in their KHSAA report since they aren't amassing stats?

Here is a rundown of our stadium. Overall is a great stadium/atmosphere. Great concessions on both the visitor side and under the home side stands. The past several weeks we have been frying really good fish on the visitor side. The field is in decent enough condition. If you venture to the home side concession area you will see our wall of fame featuring plaques with bio's of notable former students and athletes. As for parking there is small lot on the south side of the stadium. You then have several blocks of street parking, as well as smaller pay lots across the street that are usually open. I personally have never felt unsafe outside the stadium or in the general area. I have also never witnessed or even heard of any incidents happening at or outside our stadium during a game or any other time for the matter. We are a good group of knowledgeable fans that want to have a good time and watch some great football. I hope to meet some fellow forum posters there and watch a hard fought game. The list is for all players who have played and they are listing lineman jersey numbers it may not be the norm but according to KHSAA it's a fact.

Very tough one for me to pick. My head tells me Central, but I could see either winning. Should be a really good game.

The linemen numbers are for guys who has been credited a tackle... it' s not ne essarily a report for everyone who has played...if you only played Oline and never made a defensive tackle obviously you don't have an entry

As you can see no starter played both ways and they returned 8 guys each way.

 

Looking at the KHSAA page it only has Kron playing 2 games (Starting Center), Taylor No Games (Starting LT), Morris 2 games (Starting RG)

I wont jump to conclusions by what I think you meant by this so I offer this retort. Central is a magnet school. We draw kids from all areas of Louisville. We do have a lot of kids from the inner city but MANY are spread out across the city. We may not always travel well so I guess its a good thing the games aren't won in the stands.

I have been to Central numerous times and parked on the street each time with no issue. It may not be Danville, but it's not Compton.

 

I have heard it's a lot better now. It's been a long time since I've been there. My apologies.

When I lived in Louisville I had a territory in that part of Louisville. It's far from the Virginia Highlands or Anchorage area aesthetically... but I can say with 100% certainty some of the nicest and most compassionate people I ever encountered in my time in Louisville worked and lived in that area.

 

I felt safer in the area around Central than I ever felt in certain parts of Richmond while in college if that says anything.

 

It's been a long time since I've been in that part of Louisville. My apologies for my misconceptions of the area.

As an outsider looking in on this game, I would hate to bet on either team.

I really wish the KHSAA would consider scheduling some Saturday games so that fans could see some more games.

 

Comparsions:

Coaches- both excellent

Strong programs- both

Both good this year- double check

 

I will give Central the slightest of margin edge because they are playing at home.

Jack do you believe then that Kron and Morris have only played 2 games each and Taylor hasn't played at all? They are all starters on the OL.
