I somewhat agree, but if you look at the history of both schools in the playoffs my money is on Boyle. Plus Central has not faired well against Boyle in the playoffs 0 and 3 I believe

If Boyle plays central like they did Waggener last night, they will do them the same way maybe worse. Centrals passing attack is no where near Waggener's. Boyle was the best team Waggener had faced all year in my opinion. Some injuries and misfortune derailed their train last night but if I know the coaches and players they will be back next year and hungry. Just for the record from the mouth of Coach Smith after the game, "That was the fastest team we have seen, man your team was fast." that was said to Coach Johnson on the field.

Central wins this one. It's the playoffs. Nobody does the playoffs better than Central.

Boyle will win 21/7

Central wins the game. Boyle schedule was weak. They lost to a mediocre Lexcath and didn't play anyone else. Central is always battle tested by the playoffs.

 

Boyle's schedule was not weak by design, but in retrospect you are probably correct. However, with the exception of Dunbar, all of Boyle's non-district opponents were ranked top 10 in classes 6, 5, 4, 3, and 2 at the time Boyle played them.

 

At this point, none of that matters. Boyle @ Central next Friday. There is nowhere else I would rather be!

First trip for me to Central. What kind of facilities do they have.

 

Also, I want Boyle to win to hopefully have another shot at Lex Catholic and move on in the playoffs.

Shoot we might as well not even put in a week of practice and save ourselves a gas bill driving to Louisville by opinions so far. Nobody does playoffs like central? Give me a break, our trophy cases are just as full and we are just as accomplished. 2. Catholic isn't mediocre either. They could be 0-9 all year but they will play us like it's the Superbowl. Its the same way every year. Before the loss to catholic we were the majority favorite to roll through 3a nothing changes from that loss. We may not win but central will get a ball game I can at least promise that.

Boyle has twice as many state titles and alot more success over a longer period of time than Central and to the best of my memory Boyle is 3-0 verses Central in the playoffs.

Have to take Central @ home in a close one.

Never compare scores when looking at Central. You will be turning your equipment in on Monday with that thinking.

 

 

If you don't compare scores how do you rank teams throughout the season?

No 3A school can say they have been more successful than Central since Scroggins took over in 2007. 6 Title appearances, 5 Titles, 7 Semis. That doesn't mean Boyle wont win............But you have to give props to this program

We will see who wins after 4 q. But this I say Central better be ready to get hit hard. Something happen to Boyles Defense when the played Dunbar. They are hitting harder and about 4 guys are on the ball carrier consistently. And I will say Central would not beat Dunbar, Like Boyle did. Dunbar and Central are both heavy run teams. You better be able to throw the ball if your going to have a shot at beating Chuck Smith.

If Central's passing game is no where near Waggners they will struggle to score on Boyle's defense. If you can't keep Chuck Smith's defense honest they will eat the run up.

How many players play both ways for Central?
