Central wins the game. Boyle schedule was weak. They lost to a mediocre Lexcath and didn't play anyone else. Central is always battle tested by the playoffs.

To the best of my memory the last time Boyle played at Central they had very few fans at the game Boyle easily had 2-3 times as many fans as Central did.

If I don't have to work the Mercer County game I plan on being at this one.

How many players play both ways for Central?

They will have the occasional two way guy like a Phillip Francis when they are an elite talent... But most often no one plays both ways under scroggins

The Central vs Western Hills game was shocking and made zero sense.

 

I think this is purely a tossup and would be surprised if either wins by more than 10 points one way or another. Two fine programs, two fine coaches, two excellent teams.

 

I will echo though the importance of Boyle to protect the ball. If Boyle holds on to it and do not lose a turnover they win. Boyle turns it over two or more times and Central wins

First trip for me to Central. What kind of facilities do they have.

 

Also, I want Boyle to win to hopefully have another shot at Lex Catholic and move on in the playoffs.

 

Concessions are the best in Louisville. The band and drum line kick butt. The visitors side is appropriately uncomfortable. The atmosphere is one of my favorites in Kentucky.

And those are streets you don't want to be parked on. I remember my first trip to Central to watch Boyle play when I was in middle school and we rode on the charter buses Boyle provided. It's safe to say I was in culture shock when we got there. I didn't understand why all the businesses had bars on the windows and doors haha.

When I lived in Louisville I had a territory in that part of Louisville. It's far from the Virginia Highlands or Anchorage area aesthetically... but I can say with 100% certainty some of the nicest and most compassionate people I ever encountered in my time in Louisville worked and lived in that area.

 

I felt safer in the area around Central than I ever felt in certain parts of Richmond while in college if that says anything.

I may try to make this one as I've always wanted to see Boyle Co play. Have seen Central several times and always a good game. And as RockMom said Great Concessions!

((KHSSA only lists Central with 49 players having played this season only 29 of those players have played 5 games or more so where do they have the depth to platoon with only 29 players see significant playing time. 20 of those 49 have played 4 games or less. There is know way they can have the depth to platoon the only team that I have ever seen with the depth to platoon is Highlands.))

Bunch of inner-city kids and families, not all of them even have cars. Travelling outside of Louisville can be a huge challenge for them.

 

I wont jump to conclusions by what I think you meant by this so I offer this retort. Central is a magnet school. We draw kids from all areas of Louisville. We do have a lot of kids from the inner city but MANY are spread out across the city. We may not always travel well so I guess its a good thing the games aren't won in the stands.
