So that would seem to me, at least, to mean UofL is pretty well resigned to the fact that this stuff (at least to a degree) was going on, is that fair?

YES - They are preparing for punishment.

So what kind of punishment would/could they be looking at if what comes out is they (McGee) were arranging for girls to strip for and have sex with recruits? Not prostitution, just chicks willing to do it.

I would assume loss of scholarships, probably around the 3-5 range. 2 year post season ban. Pitino would be suspended which probably would mean in turn he will probably step down and retire for good.

Author says Powell has no evidence that Pitino knew about it.

Does anybody know what Lyle said exactly?

Charge- lack of Control on Pitino

10-12 game suspension.

UL’s Jurich claims they learned about this matter in late August. Looking back, is this the real reason for Pitino’s unexpected and precipitous decision to desert the Puerto Rican team days later in early September?

DeCourcy said he would not be surprised to see UL self-impose their own penalty of not partaking in the NCAA tourney IF these charges look to be accurate.

I haven't had a chance to read what Lyle said yet. Does anyone know if said if he partook in the alleged activities? Or did he just say that he knew about them?

If he partook, then he just threw his own eligibility out the window. Unless he worked out a deal with the NCAA to cover his own rear.

Doesn't this UL team have 7-8 NBA players on it. If so postseason ban would be bad.

I'm not going to expect a post season ban. Just a loss in scholarships and a coaching suspension. As of now only one of the book's stories is verified, correct? It should not have happened, obviously, but there are a lot more stories out there that this woman has no proof or credibility for. I hope Louisville gets through this, the state is about to lose a great rivalry for a few years.

I wish. :lol2:
