Also, and I know that this is Kentucky only, but from a pure architectural perspective, Withrow High School in Cincinnati has the best looking stadium that I have been to.

Trinity has 2 and a temp one they bring in for big games.

 

Most of the larger public schools in Jefferson County have 2.

 

I've never been to X for a football game but I believe they have one on each end of their stadium.

 

I could swear, but may be wrong that Highlands had one next to the stands and one in the building.

 

I'm pretty sure Henderson County had 2.

Maybe if SK would play some larger schools you'd see?

Withrow's pressbox is weird, it is a hallway in the school, they open the windows and pull over tables and chairs and hook up the pa and clock.

Highlands has 2 concession stands as well. Sounds like, thankfully, someone doesn't frequent DCM very often.

Belfry looks awesome, definitely want to make it there some time.

Not Highlands bashing here but that place is awful. Nothing but respect for all the program has accomplished from me. But..the far side is a brick wall of the school. Locker rooms are awful. Fans have to literally walk in the visitor sidelines. To small and cramped to make list of best fields. Best program list absolutely, but field not a chance.

You need a secret decoder ring to get the special blue koolaid at that stand.

War Memorial is the best place there is to watch a game. The hulking giant that runs end zone to end zone is very close to the field largely due to no track and you can hear what the coaches are saying. Its height coupled with being so close to the action is awesome. I also love the stadiums tunnels that allow the teams to run out from under the crowd onto the field. The décor displaying the Cards long history of success is everywhere to remind foes of the Cards tradition. Its on the scoreboard , titles are painted across the back of the stadium. I also love the ability to tailgate just feet from the field in the end zone where we have done all kinds of tailgate parties from pig roast to seafood boils. The old hulk lacks chairbacks but I bring my own so that is no big deal. The restrooms are poor and the visitors locker rooms are pitiful. Some $ needs to be spent to correct the stadiums deficiencies but being right on the field makes it a great place to view a game and make no mistake, it intimidates opponents when Big Red plays there. The Cards have not lost a home game there since 2008. I also like the new facility at McCracken County and PT has a beautiful hulk of their own. Others out west I really like would be Rash, the Stadium of Champions and Russellville's stadium though the field is less desirable at Russellville. One end zone actually goes uphill

With tall that it's still one of my favorite venues to watch a game. Great environment. Cozy.
