halfback20
Link to admissions by Offc Wilson in the federal lawsuit. He said Brown never reached for Offc Wilson's weapon. Offc Wilson was not aware of a weapon on Brown. http://apps.washingtonpost.com/g/documents/national/us-district-court-document-including-officer-darren-wilsons-list-of-admissions/2371/ Note: These questions were all asked from Brown's side so there are facts missing. However, the "he reached for his gun" claim was false per Offc Wilson. Offc Wilson told the DOJ during their investigation that Brown did reach for the gun. What you posted isnt quite true. Wilson said in the latest court documents that Brown did not try to take the gun out of his holster. In his original statement he never claimed Brown tried to remove the gun from his holster... What the DOJ report said was... “Wilson withdrew his gun and pointed it at Brown. Wilson warned Brown to stop or he was going to shoot him. Brown stated, ‘You are too much of a BAD WORD to shoot,’ and put his right hand over Wilson’s right hand, gaining control of the gun. Brown then maneuvered the gun so that it was pointed down at Wilson’s left hip.” (Pages 13 and 14) https://www.justice.gov/sites/default/files/opa/press-releases/attachments/2015/03/04/doj_report_on_shooting_of_michael_brown_1.pdf

Go to page 29 of his grand jury testimony. https://s3.amazonaws.com/s3.documentcloud.org/documents/1371222/wilson-testimony.pdf#page=29 He grabs my gun, says, “You are too much of a p***y to shoot me.” The gun goes down into my hip and at that point I thought I was getting shot. I can feel his fingers try to get inside the trigger guard with my finger and I distinctly remember envisioning a bullet going into my leg. I thought that was the next step. Again, he didnt say it was in the holster there. He described that to the DOJ. That happened after he removed it from the holster and pointed it at Brown. He never said Brown tried to remove it from the holster. The attorneys obviously didn't go further after he confirmed Brown didnt try to remove it from the holster.
