Already stated what the punishment was. 3 day school suspension and 5 game baseball suspension. Not sure who determined the baseball suspension, admin, ad, coach or combination of all.

 

Again, the issue is the victim quit, but the others get to continue playing. Other things I am hearing about what is said in the halls at school make me puke.

 

1. If thats all the punishment ends up being, thats sad.

 

2. Why would the victim want to be back on this team, or be a part of it, if that is how he is going to be treated. Why be a part of a bunch of jackwagons.

Doesn't the school district brag on the way they handle bullying in their schools? This isn't handling it at all. This was a defining moment for the administrators, and they chose to hand down a slap on the wrist. These players all should have been removed from the team.

News tonight said 3 school days and 3 games. Either way not enough.

Did I just see a story on Fox 19 about this? I came in the room late. I heard a muffled interview with a mother saying something about pictures and videos were taken. Not good by any means.

FORT THOMAS, KY (FOX19) - At least five Highlands High School student-athletes are under investigation for harassment, sources told FOX19 NOW Thursday.

 

A parent of one of the kids involved told FOX19 NOW that five baseball players are accused of urinating in a bottle last week while at a baseball tournament in Myrtle Beach, warming it in the microwave and dousing another player with it.

 

The parent told FOX19 NOW's Tricia Macke that the coach didn't see the incident but boys reportedly took video and pictures on cell phones.

 

"So there are recordings of a boy on Highlands baseball team being doused with urine?," Macke said.

 

"Well they were told if they'd taken any that they were to delete it," the parent said,

 

"Who told them that?," Macke said

 

"The coach, " the parent said.

 

The parent says the boys were suspended from school and the team for at least three days.

FOX19 NOW contacted the school's superintendent, principal and school board members, but they have refused to comment or discuss actions against the boys or the coach.

 

Sources say the victim has quit the team.

Huh? Honestly, I have been around for a lot of years at Highlands and not one time do I recall Highlands bragging about how they handle bullying. Maybe I missed something. Awe, wait.........now I see it. Have a good evening my friend!
