Northern Iowa made a little run at the end, but as I told Deuce Saturday night, those kids probably hadn't seen the defensive pressure like UL brings. Game played out about like I expected. UL has a really good shot at another Final Four.

UL has a really good shot at another Final Four. You could definitely tell the Louisville defense had UNI uncomfortable the majority of the night. UL also did a really good job protecting the perimeter. Their game plan was clear, to win from beyond the arc... Didn't work, and they really didn't have another option.

March 23, 201511 yr To me its amazing of the job two coaches did this year and that is Coach Pitino and Coach Izzo they way their teams looked at times this year and to be in the sweet 16 it is a testimony to their coaching abilities.

This was a UL team that basically snuck it's way into the tournament (meaning they weren't playing good basketball) not they were one of the last in, and they have a VERY good weekend after holding off a pesky UC-Irvine and then N. Iowa. The Cards played great this weekend but honestly I thought they matched up GREAT with N. Iowa.

March 23, 201511 yr The thing to understand this is like early January for Q. He is starting to really learn to play the point. I am hopeful Terry is getting comfortable with playing with him. Lets hope they can win 2 more next weekend.
