I keep my Girl Scout cookies in a file cabinet at work....Mrs. BB has no idea, so I guess that's not good that I'm keeping it from her...what she doesn't know won't hurt her

I've always heard the rule of 7. Whatever the female says add 7, whatever the male says subtract 7. :idunno:

That must be the 1977 version.

No date/boyfriend has ever asked me how many "partners" I've had and I've never asked anyone else for that matter.

Dating my girlfriend for about three years and have no idea what her number would be. When I broke up with a previous ex, I convinced myself that it was best that I just never ask that question.

Sometimes I'll get Chipotle without telling her and take the garbage to the dumpster before she gets home. Saves me about $8 haha!

My wife made the mistake of telling me last week. I had pulled my Gene Wilder Young Frankenstein speech telling her not to let me know where they were no matter how much I yelled or pleaded. She failed miserably and now I have to go out and find more girl scout cookies.

The only secret I keep from Mr. Cat is where I hide the Girl Scout cookies when they come home. :jump:

When they came in at work, I just gave mine to the ladies in accounting. Big hit there, now.

When my granddaughter got hers, I old my daughter-in-law to just keep them and I'd send her a check. (Reminds me, I need to cut that check.) :D

That would last me until about 2pm. Must say no. Serving size 2 cookies, yeah right.

Two cookies? And here I thought it was two boxes? No wonder I've been getting those strange looks at work.

I keep a moderate amount of secrets, both minor and major from my S.O. of 4+ years. She doesn't know about many of my non-romantic female friends.

Also, so you guys just have these empty boxes of cookies in drawers and hidden from people? Like, after you polish off the box on the way home, just toss it in the garbage. Or your backseat. You all confuse me...

But, we both learned long ago in our relationship what does and does not need to be said to each other. I tell her when he make-up and hair looks bad. She tells me when I've dressed like a hobo or way too Keeneland tool. Everything else is a case-by-case basis.

If they aren't romantic, why are they a secret?

My wife didn't really need to know what I paid for my guns does she?

And in 20 years, I have always broke even gambling! Every single time.

My wife didn't really need to know what I paid for my guns does she?

Reminds me of a sign I saw...my biggest fear is that if I die my wife sells my guns for what I told her I paid for them!

I heard a quote somewhere once that said something to the effect of, "The key to a long happy marriage is to leave one or two things unsaid everyday."

I think I agree.

Told my about to be married son something very similar.

If they aren't romantic, why are they a secret?

Because some of them are exceptionally attractive. And that's not a discussion I want to have.

I don't see how what I did in the past is pertinent to my current relationship. I don't feel the need to tell her some of the things that I've done, because the past is the past. Likewise, I don't expect her to lay out all of her transgressions either. I don't see that as lying.

We actually did talk numbers one time. I think it was just out of our own curiosity, and not about jealousy or whatever.
