January 28, 201511 yr Craziness. Pure craziness. I guess some of you have never had friends get into a fight in your presence. Awful judgmental posts is all I see. I know who I want next to me if a bar fight breaks out.

I know who I want next to me if a bar fight breaks out. To be honest I have been in plenty of fights similar to this. However I didn't have the reputation of a university hanging.above me. Kids will be kids, but these kids are held to a high standard. They should know better. I will leave the rest of my thoughts out until this situation is sorted out. To be honest things aren't looking good for the UK players though. Just my opinion.
January 28, 201511 yr The Scurry kid from EKU got JACKED UP. I don't know why, but there's no doubt in my mind he got hit with a beer bottle. I really cannot think of any time in life where that is appropriate, even though it happens. I don't know what happened, but the post about Nerlens Noel from Scurry's twitter account certainly makes you think he's not an innocent victim. Seems like a classy individual to me......
January 28, 201511 yr There was a lot more to that story than just a couple of EKU guys throwing bottles at his car. They kind of earned it. I'll just leave it at that. Please educate us. You seem to know a lot about what happened
January 28, 201511 yr Also the EKU player who assaulted Barker. Obviously you are well connected. Keep us updated.
January 28, 201511 yr A wise man I know continuously uses the saying "Decisions Determine Destiny"......that is so true.
January 28, 201511 yr No, it is coed. All of the football players were moved their this year--unless they already had a lease in place off campus or were in married housing. Wait a minute. So Drew was, at the very least, with a group of dudes who are in a bar in Richmond and wear out some EKU football player. Next thing he does is go TO the EKU football dorm? I don't care why he was there, while not criminal or punishable necessarily, but that is one of the single dumbest things I've ever heard. Sadly, minus the bottle, I have some experience in said activities. I wouldn't have then gone strolling into the hornet's nest without a bunch of my guys. As Clyde, and many others, have alluded to, working under the assumption that Drew did nothing criminal at the bar (besides being there, which doesn't elicit a nanosecond of outrage from me), and was sucker-punched at the dorm, his decision making has to improve. Being at the football dorm after that bar fight was galactically stupid ("A Few Good Men"); and dangerous.
January 28, 201511 yr Can someone answer my earlier question? Why after two days, didn't the police have any report on the bar fight? I guess that means they were never contacted? Wouldn't someone who knows the EKU player call the police or at least his parents? Did the EKU player leave the bar in an ambulance? If so, usually they are accompanied by the police especially to a bar. Why didn't the bar call the police during or after the fight?

I know who I want next to me if a bar fight breaks out. I'll be the first one to tell ya, I'm probably the last one anyone would want next to them if they got in a bar fight. I'm not a fighter, never have been, never will be. Not in my nature. If that makes me a bad person, or a bad friend, so be it. I can live with that.
January 28, 201511 yr That's my point. I can't answer it because I'd never be in that situation. I'd be the guy trying to separate everyone. I've made no secret about my loathing for violence of any kind in any situation. Except post 120, then it's ok.
January 28, 201511 yr Except post 120, then it's ok. Saying something is deserved, and that it's okay are two completely different things. Example: The mom who lit her newborn baby on fire deserves to die. That doesn't mean I think it's okay to give her the death penalty.

January 28, 201511 yr I wonder if and when video will be available to see, or is it and I missed it somewhere?
