Dorian Baker and Drew Barker

No serious injuries. Sore. Scrapes.

A) Good...glad he wasn't hurt.

B) To continue to bring that up (NOT YOU) and compare it in any way to the dude who caught a bottle to the face is silliness.

Who said that? I said for him to go back to the football dorm, after his buddy wore out a football player, was asinine. Regardless of the reason, and I think it is safe to say it is 99.9% likely that it wasn't to cause trouble.

Go back and look through the thread. There were a few people stating that its obvious that after they beat a guy, that they went back to EKU looking for more and deserved to get suckered punched and feel no sympathy for it.

Also I would bet there was a good chance the UK players probably were at the EKU dorms with what ever buddy they knew there before they even went to the bar. So since they were going out that night, I bet they probably were planning on staying the night there and had their stuff inside too. So yeah most people probably would have attempted to go back to get their stuff. Especially if say Barker truly wasn't involved in the fight, he may have thought he would be fine and not expected to get punched if he wasn't involved.

Obviously what I am saying is just speculation and opinion to like many others on here. It will be interesting when all the details come out.

Lots of law degrees coming out in this thread...

To my knowledge no one can even confirm he was hit with a bottle.

Well whatever it was. It definitely left a mark!

Im curious about this also. There was no mention of a bottle in the police statement. I'm no doctor but none of those cuts on his face appear to be from glass. They appear to be cuts that you would suffer from being repeatedly punched in the face.

Either way, its a bad situation for everyone involved. With multiple fractures to the kids face, this incident could have turned deadly had a few more punches been thrown.

Some have law degrees in this thread, so there's that.

I'll be the first one to tell ya, I'm probably the last one anyone would want next to them if they got in a bar fight. I'm not a fighter, never have been, never will be. Not in my nature. If that makes me a bad person, or a bad friend, so be it. I can live with that.

I'm stunned at this. Not calling you a liar. Just stunned that you could watch a buddy, even if he started the whole thing, get attacked and you would just stand there and watch. Stunned. Doesn't seem possible.

Lecture him afterwards on the stupidity of it but, good lord, help the guy out if he needs it.

You're making a bunch of leaps that aren't there Clyde.

I would not throw a punch. That doesn't mean I wouldn't try to separate my buddy from the altercation. I'd do my best to pull him out of the situation or better yet get him out before the altercation began if possible.

I'd pass on clubbin with UKMF. :walk:

My fault.

What if 2 guys are wailing on him and you can't pull them off?

Lucky for me, none of my friends are stupid enough to get into bar fights.

My fault.

You can throw out as many scenarios as your heart desires man, my answer isn't changing.
