January 29, 201511 yr Multiple fist shots to the face from multiple people will do that. So if there was no bottle, the speculation builds in the fact there were multiple people. Heck form the sheer size of the the EKU football player, there would have had to be multiple people throwing punches. Multiple shots from one person can do that too. I don't care how big the guy is, his sheer size doesn't protect him against someone who knows how to land a punch.
January 29, 201511 yr Who did what exactly in this incident? When we determine that THEN we can decide how to judge this. So, according to your logic, since Drew was with the group of people with the air gun on campus but may not directly pulled the trigger of that gun he should not have been disciplined? Kid is in a place he shouldn't have been, and is involved, to say the least, in another incident that puts a mark on his resume. Add that to the campus issue, UL/UK fight, and it smells like some foul play to me.

If you are carrying a gun, real or fake, you are putting a lot of people in a tough spot especially law enforcement. What UL/UK fight? You mean trash talking during a game? Hell, Boogie would have been sent home by game 3 if that is your definition of a fight.
January 29, 201511 yr Incorrect on your assumption. If you are carrying a gun, real or fake, you are putting a lot of people in a tough spot especially law enforcement. And that is a shame. Kids can't play with toy guns anymore in public, so why make toy guns? Even if you work security these days you pose a problem, because you have a gun. Just last week a local college was put on lockdown because someone didn't recognise the Brinks guy that had a firearm on his side. Did he pose a threat, of course not. Was he more of a threat than a kid with an air soft gun, of course he was, he was carrying a live weapon. Do I think either was a threat or should be reprimanded, not at all. Yet, the kids with a rubber pellot gun were because they caused panic. Guns don't cause panic, insecure people cause panic.
January 29, 201511 yr It would be 30 if they wore red... There wold be guns involved if they wore red. Sorry, couldn't resist.

January 29, 201511 yr If a 6'3" 215 lbs guy with 5% body fat hits you in the face it's gonna leave a mark. I don't give a damn how big you are or how tough you are
January 29, 201511 yr If a 6'3" 215 lbs guy with 5% body fat hits you in the face it's gonna leave a mark. I don't give a damn how big you are or how tough you are No doubt, some people don't seem to understand that. If your the size of any of these guys you can put a hurting on anyone, no matter their size advantage. All it takes is one good punch, then the other guy is on the ground. What happens after that is up to the person who put the other guy down.

You are close with the kid, and the family, that is evident by how much you know about him which is fine. But if this was any other kid you wouldn't be so defensive of the situation(s). I hope Drew did nothing in this incident and is a victim, but he definitely needs to grow up and learn not to place himself in terrible situations. He is held to a higher standard as a college athlete, whether that is fair or not, doesn't matter.

I am still waiting for your definition of a fight. Edited January 29, 201511 yr by Clyde

January 29, 201511 yr With all the cell phones in the country surgically attached to every kid older than 12, is there really no video out there? None? I'm not talking security cam video, just any video.
