Lots of facts still need to come out on this situation. A common theme seems to be the kid from EKU started the garbage and the UK kids finished it. I know if it was me being attacked I would try and defend myself with all my might.

 

One thing I find interesting. Why did the kid from EKU close his twitter account? Did any UK players do the same? Just curious. The guy seemed really proud of some really low character tweets. If he were my son, I would tell him to shut his mouth and apologize to the UK players for that night and to quit bullying people and he got what he deserved. But that's just me.

 

I also find it ironic how the Barker kid is being vilified in this thread when he was just visiting friends from high school. Guess he didn't get Scurry's approval before hand. Seems to be his only mistake. By the way, my sister went to EKU and 90% of their bar business is underage patrons. It's what college kids do. We wait.

So you're criticizing people for playing jusge, jury, and executioner on the UK players. Yet typy just did the same thing to the EKU player. What's the difference?

There are way too many details that are unknown for anyone to be convicted at this point. The video would tell a lot and I'm sure police are investigating and will release more information soon. Just because someone gets beat up doesn't necessarily make him/her a victim. There are just too many unknowns at this point.

The 2 witnesses that said he instigated it were there with the UK players. If they started it or jumped him after the mouthing started do you think they would just admit it? It costs them nothing to lie in this case. If there's no video or if the video is inconclusive them it is their word against his. If the video shows them jump him and strike him with a bottle they were doomed already. The only person that was not involved in the incident that was quoted in the article described the UK players as the aggressors. That description came second hand. The real evidence is in the video. If it shows what I've been told it shows this will be sorted out pretty soon.

Probably because KSR and other UK fans dug through his tweets to find anything that they could be outraged about. I'd say if you took the time to read through most college students tweets you'd find some pretty immature things. He didn't close it, he made it private. All of his previous followers can still read it. I've read the things that UK fans have tweeted to kids like Damien Harris when he spurned them for Alabama. I can only imagine the venom that was spewed at Colton. It would have been worse if the 3 UK players are found at fault. I'd have made mine private too.

 

I can assure you that I know more about his "past" than you do. He's a normal college kid with some nice parents. This is a bad situation. There are going to be no winners here but some reckless tweets and the story of 2 eyewitnesses that were with (and in the case on 1 of them likely involved) the 3 UK players does not make Scurry guilty of anything.

 

You jumped all over others for being judge, jury and executioner but you don't mind doing it yourself. That is evident. Why not just say that we shouldn't be judge, jury and executioner unless we think the UK guys did nothing wrong? That's really your point. Like I said, there is video and this will be sorted out soon.

What's so offensive about that? You think that would not have happened at Two Keys if the roles had been reversed? That statement sure isn't enough to deserve getting hit by a bottle when you have five guys there and the other dude is there with a girl.
