Dorian Baker and Drew Barker

Featured Replies

Let's just agree that Barker continues to put himself in bad situations and clearly does NOT deserve the golden boy reputation that many in NKY have lavished upon him. In the end, he's just another athlete that can't draw the line between pampered athlete and upstanding citizen. I always thought of him as being a better role model than the DH kid but I may have been wrong. They appear to have the same mentality that they don't have to follow the rules.

Towles? Not a speck of an issue with this guy. Mom and dad should be proud.

Uber, a cab, a friend....a myriad of ways to get home besides sleeping in the football dorm after just being, at the very least, on the fringe of a group of dudes that just wore out an EKU football player.

Unless it was a fine tail he was chasing. We all know the bad decisions we made in college when we combined booze and tail. Lol

My thoughts on this are simple. If you go to Richmond bars there is a high likelihood that you will witness a fight or be involved in one. I visited buddies at EKU back in the early 90's 3 times and every time there was a fight. Fortunately I was not involved,:the worst thing that happened to me was I passed out at my buddy's dorm and got my face markered up. Only to be woken up and encouraged to go to a party off campus. They put me in the front seat and got halfway there but decided I was too good of a buddy to take me in that condition with my face marketed up so I was spared.

Moral of the story is stay out of Richmond Bars. You will find trouble you are not looking for and especially if you are a high profile athlete. Jealousy and booze is a nasty combination.

As far as the kid who got wore out, well he looks like a bad dude with the long hair and beard. If he goes 6'3 300 and picks a fight with me I'm probably going the other way. If he attacks me in any way then he is going down with anything I can get my hands on. Period

Let's just keep the kids out of bars all together. The world would be a better place.

After skimming over all the posts on 22 pages in this thread the only certainty I can draw is if I'm either Barker or Baker, I want Clyde as my Attorney

I prefer to deal in facts. No question.

Only certainty I can draw is that there are in the know sources on both sides telling opposite stories. Imagine that.

I've always went by the simple philosophy in life that nothing good happens after 2:00 AM and if you remember your high school and college days, that is generally true if you think about it and appears to be the case here. Facts or no I'm the type of person that profiles people(if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck) and that's not the mature thing, but that is me and Mr. Barker is falling into that Johnny Manziel territory and I can't stand that guy and never will.

You definitely have a personal problem with him and that shows with this post. So I assume your so called source maybe has the same mindset as you. So until the facts come out, we should think of your sources as credible as the sources that said Billy Donovan was looking at horse farms and was going to be the next UK coach a few years ago.

Let's let facts come out before you make post like this.

I would be willing to bet many top qbs in college football have gone out to parties, bars, etc. The only difference is the people they went out with may have been a better choice of people to hang with. Now once all the facts come out I may change my opinion. However as of now I think the main thing Barker has done wrong had been a poor choice of friends to hang with. Now that could change depending on what the facts are and how much he was involved in the actual fight.

And it has happened how many times now. And with incidents.

Qryche, you are either an early riser or pulling an all nighter. It's little brother Mark's house, Bob's house is a lot bigger in Norman! ?

I know this generation of college kids don't even go out until about 11pm, but the old saying was that nothing good happens after midnight.

This old guy is inclined to believe that is true. :thumb:

How many criminal actions are these men going to be allowed to commit and still be enrolled at UK?
