February 5, 201511 yr I'm confused on the timeline. Jan 25th was a Sunday. This report says the fight at Telford Hall happened at 8pm Sunday the 25th. Is this an additional incident that occured before the players went downtown? Or is it referring to the Telford incident we already know about and the time is wrong in the report? Was the fight at the bar late Sunday night (before midnight) or early Sunday AM (after midnight Sat) ?
February 5, 201511 yr an EKU defensive lineman who transferred from UK Could be and probably is nothing, but I found the bolded to be interesting. Maybe only to me....
February 5, 201511 yr Here is a link to an article in the Lexington Herald this morning. No real new information, other than the below information. The fight, which occurred at Jerzee's Cocktail Lounge & Dance Club on Jan. 25, left Scurry with a broken nose and facial fractures. Additionally, there had been a fight earlier Jan. 25, about 8 p.m., between Barker and Patrick Graffree, an EKU defensive lineman who transferred from UK; the fight took place at EKU's Telford Hall, EKU spokesman Scott Cason said. Cason was referring to an EKU police report released Wednesday. An investigation into the fight between Barker and Graffree is ongoing, Cason said. If I had a dollar for everytime she got her facts misconstrued, I would be a very rich man. She should be terminated.

Did the fight or "Sucker Punch" take place before they went to the bar? If so then a lot of people who made some allegations to why the UK players went back to the dorm after the bar fight may have to retract their statements.

Huh....Kind of the story I got a day or so after the so called Bar Beat down. Crazy how things are starting to unfold here. The next month or so should be interesting to say the least! I wonder if Coach Stoops mandates a No Spring Break policy for his football players this year and requires them to stay on campus. Or maybe he just lets his players start to sleep in their own beds that they made......
February 5, 201511 yr What does she have wrong? That there was another fight because if there was then it's a totally different outcome with why they were at the Bar in the 1st place. And the player who used the Beer bottle is doomed! There is no self defense claim there...IMO!

I agree if there was an earlier fight the person wielding the beer bottle is toast.

Noway Barker would not tell the whole story. Why would we(BBN) think different? That's crazy talk! Give me 1 reason not to believe what he says.... Someone the other day argued with me that Barker wasn't even there. So there's 2 Drew Barker's roaming Lexington? Wow! Where that Dude got his story(Info) from must of been a great "Party"

Why would that make a difference in reference to the beer bottle? Even if there was a fight earlier and the boys go to the bar and are attacked there, why would using a beer bottle if it was in self defense be different than if there wasn't a fight earlier? Self defense is self defense no matter when it happens. The one thing that bothers me however is if there was a fight earlier, why didn't they head back to Lexington after that? Sticking around and going to a bar and seeing some of the people they fought earlier was bad judgement on their part, just as bad as being at a bar in the first place underage.

I said it a week ago that I am confident that the Bar fight was in retaliation for something that happen earlier. Just Sayin!

I said it a week ago that I am confident that the Bar fight was in retaliation for something that happen earlier. Just Sayin! You could be 100% correct. That is why I also said that if a fight occured earlier then what bothers me is the bad judgement to not head back to Lexington and get out of the hostile situation they put themselves in. With that said, the beer bottle doesn't change anything whether the fight took place earlier or not. I don't think just because there was a fight earlier and then later that night you are attacked you don't have the right to defend yourself. That is what I was saying.

Sorry I quoted you before you had a chance to edit. My response is basically what you continued to write. If indeed there was another fight which it sounds like it's a possibility, then the 3 Ky players made a very bad decision to continue the night or Madness in Richmond....
