Dorian Baker and Drew Barker

Featured Replies

Drew Barker did NOT put anybody in the hospital.

I said ONE of the guys that put his teammate in the hospital. I'm sure at that point it wasn't clear who did the swinging--just that the 3 guys were now at the dorm.

Great, you're back with the facts. Can you post what you know now?

Unless Scurry was struck by a meteor one of the UK players did. Then they went to the EKU dorm. I'm sure the EKU player there was looking for some payback.

No, I'm saying that he was in the group of players that did. I'm sure at that point the EKU players knew that the 3 were involved and they went after Barker to get some payback.

In terms of Barker getting punched at the dorm, it's really irrelevant who did the bottle... If you are involved in a bar fight that puts my friend in the hospital, and then you show up at our dorm, you would be lucky to get out without there being problems.

So you would be ok if it turns out Barker did wade in to help a friend out, right?

So you think Scurry had a weapon as well? The UK player swung a bottle in what to that point was a shoving match. Someone will be charged in this.

I personally don't care if he had a weapon or not. If it is me in the bar and a 300 lbs lineman is charging me, I will use whatever I have at my disposal to stop him because I am over 100 lbs less than he is and would stand no chance. If it's a bottle, then it's a bottle.

There is a difference.

If a fight is in progress and your guy is in it you're probably getting in - whether to throw punches or to break it up.

Unless the story I heard is wrong there was no fight in progress at the dorm. Drew got punched in the head from behind. I don't call that defending a friend.

Now if video comes out that all 3 were back at the dorm and looking for a fight then we've got a different story.

Again, lots of "IFs" here.

No one went to a dorm looking for a fight except the EKU players. The EKU police are coming to speak with Barker tomorrow to get his statement about the Telford Hall incident and whether or not he wants to pursue charges. This was a straight out assault.

I don't understand your question....

But it wasn't you was it? It was 3 other football players. And it was a shoving match until he started swinging the bottle.

That sounds about right.

Right . One of the players did. You seem to be saying you know who did it.

I know there are 75+ plus players on the team, you should tell Drew to make some new friends while he still has a chance. I am not sure leaving Hebron for the big city was a good thing for him right now. Best of luck to him.

A little bar scuffle is a lot different than hitting people in the face with a beer bottle.

I don't understand your question....

Based on your comment you would have to be ok with Barker if it turns out his part of the fight involved helping out a friend. Unless he wielded the bottle. Whoever did that should be toast.

So was Scurry getting hit in the face with a bottle. Except in that case it was assault with a deadly weapon.

But it wasn't you was it? It was 3 other football players. And it was a shoving match until he started swinging the bottle.

No punches were thrown before the bottle?

But it wasn't you was it? It was 3 other football players. And it was a shoving match until he started swinging the bottle.

Who says it was a shoving match? The article in the Courier Journal said there were punches being thrown. Doesn't sound like a shoving match to me. Also what difference does it make if it was me or Dorian Baker that was being charged by the EKU Lineman? I don't follow the point you are trying to make.

You seem to know exactly what happened, were you there? You claim it was only a shoving match until the bottle got involved.
