Dorian Baker and Drew Barker

Featured Replies

Most of the stuff I've read, which is admittedly speculation, have him as the culprit.

Whoever it was is immediately gone.

The other two should have this coming season off as well IMO. Need to earn the right to wear the uniform again.

If Drew hit a kid with a bottle I'll back you up.

If Drew was simply WITH the guy who hit someone with a bottle and even if he then got in the fight I've got nothing. A fight breaks out and your boys are in it - you're not jumping into help?

There isn't much that deserves a sucker-punch. Trying to maim a dudes face with a beer bottle would be one incident that I'd say it's warranted. That's if Barker did it of course

Lot of "IFs" in this thread.

If you go out of your way to pursue trouble in an instance like this, you deserve what you've got coming.

Pursuing?

We will agree that not getting out of Dodge wasn't smart. Doesn't mean you deserve to get sucker-punched.

If a friend of yours for any reason got beat that bad with a beer bottle and the 3 a people who did it came looking for more you saying you wouldn't do whatever to knock them out for what they did to your friend?

I'm not an idiot, and I'm not putting myself in that situation if I'm in the spot these guys are as college athletes. Absolutely needs to be severe discipline for all 3 involved. They clearly didn't learn from the gun incident.

Who said he was pursuing trouble?

What if he was visiting a female at the dorm? Checked in and gave his ID as a visitor? Does that sound like pursuing trouble?

Why are we assuming they were looking to fight at the dorm?

That's not the question. A fight breaks out and your guy is in it. Too late to say "I'm an idiot for being here." You in or out?

Looking for more, what are you talking about?

Looking for more? Seems speculative.

That's my point. I can't answer it because I'd never be in that situation.

I'd be the guy trying to separate everyone. I've made no secret about my loathing for violence of any kind in any situation.

So far in this thread we've established nothing regarding what happened.

We don't know who did what.

We don't know why.

We don't know anything that one guy from EKU got busted up badly and Drew got punched at a dorm.

At some point, you are who you hang out with. What makes you think Barker is innocent and Baker is the bad guy?

Just going off the reports that it was Baker who threw the bottle not Barker. I heard rumor that the EKU lineman charged Baker and that is when he got hit with the bottle, a self defense move. If this is true then I can't see Drew getting kicked off the team or anything close to that.

That's my point. I can't answer it because I'd never be in that situation.

So you'd be in it trying to break it up. Cool.

In today's world you would then be said to have a)started it b)used the bottle to bust an innocent kid and c)then went looking to fight the entire team back at the dorm.
