Toothpick
Interesting read on UK's Atlantis visit. UK spent a hefty sum vs what the other teams spent and this explains why and how. Also learned that UK makes approx. $700K per home game, that is staggering! Kentucky's Bahamas trip came at hefty cost

bugatti
Simple dollars and sense. They anticipated the cost of the trip costing X amount, so they scheduled an additional home game to cover.
price499
I wonder why Dakari was the only one to get a room to himself...:lol2:
bugatti
I wonder why Dakari was the only one to get a room to himself...:lol2: Somebody had to be alone. Or I guess they could have put 3 end of the bench guys in one room. That would have just been mean.
Jumper_Dad
Imagine the complaints if Camp Cal had taken place in Hawaii as was once being looked at? At one point UK was looking to go to Hawaii for a week of practice ending with a game while over there.

A week-long camp in Hawaii, play a game at Hawaii and then a game at UCLA or Arizona or another Pac-12 school on the way home would be pretty neat. SHAMROCK69
A drop in the bucket compared to what the very successful basketball program brings in. Go Cats!
MJAlltheWay24
Good investment for the program. As much money as they bring in, it doesn't upset me one bit. The kids deserve it.
