SEC East is unbeaten- crazy to think about considering how that division played all season, IMO.

January 1, 201511 yr So think I just had a light bulb moment that may have been stated before so excuse me if I'm late to the party. Miss St and Ole Miss were marginally better this year. But the East was so bad outside of UGA and Mizzou to an extent.all the West teams plumped their record up making them look better than they really were. The West was carrying the conference the whole year, but they still were the same caliber maybe even a little down as they have been in the past. I think some, including me, thought the West was so good it was making the East look bad, but the East was just bad. So if my rambling makes any sense, what I'm saying is the SEC is only great when both divisions are good. They usually have a strong 3 teams in both divisions. This year the West really just had Bama. It will be back next year as I think teams graduated a lot and have a lot of young guys in there.
January 1, 201511 yr And lastly, which is probably the main reason for the SEC stinking. The QB play in the conference has been terrible. I think the best is Simms and he's not even that great.

But the problem again, RE: The SEC, is they play very, very, VERY few games outside the conference against other Power 5 teams and/or ones with a pulse. If you're not allowed to use bowl performances, what is left to evaluate the conference? You simply can't judge it entirely by how they perform against other conference teams. Then you're at the mercy of just who you think is good.

January 2, 201511 yr Author The SEC West did not hold up their end of the bargain. Arkansas got the only divisional win.
