Ask yourself the very same question. I see you in EVERY Duke thread. You don't see me in EVERY UK thread. I very rarely go into UK game threads because I very rarely watch UK play.

 

About what I expected, no answer. Here is the truth, I went back and found 4 Duke threads on the first 3 pages of this board and I posted in 1 of them. In that thread I discussed free throw shooting by big men more than I did Duke. You on the other hand brought UK into the thread less than an hour after the game finished. You got your underwear in a bunch and Grizzly Adams said he was attacked, because some had the audacity to say Okafor was not a good free throw shooter at 50%. Heck, even your other partner Deuce chimed in. Fast forward a week and you of all people are calling people sensitive and talk about complexes.

 

Look here's my reality, I respect Duke but I rarely root for them because my natural tendency is to pull for the underdog and they are rarely the underdog. I hope they destroy Louisville and North Carolina every time they play them because I have zero respect for either but if they don't I won't lose one wink of sleep because ultimately I care about 1 team.

Wrong. I never got my underwear in a bunch. I've been having fun all year long and laughing at every post I put in the college basketba forum. I can't help it that you can't see that. If I wanted to have a sensible conversation about something then I will. If you go back and look at that same thread after folks realized it was all in fun you'll see I said Okafor sucks at free throws.

Another great game tonight between GW and the Shockers. As a basketball fan, this year seems pretty exiting to me. There have already been plenty of great games and upsets, yet its December. Kentucky may be one of the dominant teams this year, but it surely hasn't changed the excitement around the NCAA.

To say UK is bad for basketball is like saying the Yankees are bad for baseball, Tiger is bad for golf, Pete Sampras was bad for tennis, The Lakers are bad for pro basketball....of course UK is not bad for college basketball. This is just a unique moment in time and will pass.

You all take college basketball just a bit too serious! Relax and enjoy the ride your team takes you on this year!

I have to think it is good for the sport as a whole. This team is somewhat of an anomaly- as in you cannot expect this level of talent to be there and work this good together year in and year out.

I believe in Cal and his system will have us in the hunt year in and year out and maybe in the title hunt every couple of years, but even with my blue-tinted glasses I do not believe we will always be this DOMINANT.

Much like the Michigan "fab 5", The UNC group of James Worthy, Sam Perkins, and a young Michael Jordan, this is a very special group and they will be remembered as such, so I can only see them as being good for the game.
