February 13, 201511 yr I read a review online that basically asked people to hink of how they're picturing Christian Grey and how they feel about him. Then to imagine he looks like this: If it's a book about a controlling, abusive monster and instead of being incredibly handsome and fabulously wealthy, he's George Costanza, does anyone think this book isn't a complete disaster? Easily in my top five of worst-written female lead characters of all time. I had a hard time understanding the whole phenomenon around 50 Shades of Grey when I heard the story. My wife didn't like the book but is intrigued by the movie and she's the one who said to me that if Christian Grey was anything other than a good looking, rich dude then he'd be arrested for being a crazed, stalker. It doesn't work if Christian Grey is a homeless man. Love that picture by the way. :lol2:

February 14, 201511 yr Movie Report: If you did not read the book, actually books, and lets face it if you are a man - you probably did not - or your wife did not or she has not explained some of it before going this moving then it will seem as bad as the reviews. If you have the background and look beyond the shock factor of the red room there there is a 'love story' (according to my wife). What I took notice of was the power struggle or ongoing power negotiations. If you miss either the 'love story' or power aspect - then it won't make sense.
